Jace Baker

Finance & Operations Director

Always a close advisor since its founding, Jace joined the RBD team full-time in 2022 after more than 14 years with Google, where he held many roles from advising global business leaders, to leading teams in developing strategic insights for fashion, sports, and apparel brands. Jace attended Texas Tech University, where he pursued degrees in Finance and Information Sciences. He also earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.  Born and raised in a small Texas town, Jace has an affinity for backroads, wide open spaces, and getting lost, which he enjoys often while cycling, skiing, and raising teenagers. 

Lindsay Brown

Studio Director

Lindsay joined the RBD team after spending 15 years in the digital media, marketing and technology space, having worked for companies that include Google, Apple, Conde Nast, Getty Images, and Live Nation. Her focus and passion has always been on strategic business planning, cross-team collaboration, marketing, and client management—which she’s thrilled to apply on a more personal level across RBD’s portfolio of projects. She received a BA in Psychology and Art History from Dartmouth College and has had a long-standing love for Art and Design. Originally from the East Coast, Lindsay was introduced to Regan and RBD as a client and now calls the Bay Area “home,” splitting time between San Francisco and Sonoma with her husband and two children.

Amy McKenzie

Design Director

Amy has over 15 years of experience in interior design, spanning from east coast to west. She loves getting to know her clients and their tastes, looking at all angles, and making their dream home a reality. Amy believes that beauty and function should always work in harmony and loves that magic moment when everything comes together. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture from Ohio University, and worked at Fox-Nahem Associates in New York and Marlies Venute Interiors in Washington D.C. before joining RBD. When she isn't designing dream homes, you'll find Amy curled up with a good book or busy playing with her two young children.

Kelly Gabaldon

Senior Designer

Kelly Gabaldon graduated from San Francisco State University with a BA in Interior Design. She is a lifelong California native with over a decade and a half of experience working for top interior designers in the Bay Area, including Warren Sheets Design and Wheeler Design Group. Kelly lives for designing unique spaces that make her clients feel happy, welcomed and inspired.  Her love of color, pattern play, and fresh modern design drew her to Regan Baker Design. Outside of the studio, she loves to spend her weekends outdoors with her friends and family—grilling in the backyard, relaxing at the beach, or finding a new park to explore with her two young children.

Estefania Perez

Senior Designer

Originally from Spain, Estefania moved to San Francisco to pursue the American Dream. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, she began working as an interior and furniture designer in Madrid, eventually leading an interior design department. Simultaneously, she worked toward earning a Master’s degree in both 3D Design and Industrial Design. Creative and inventive from a young age, she is a natural problem-solver, and takes pride in understanding every detail of a project so that it comes together perfectly. Outside of the office, she loves traveling to new places, spending time with loved ones, and enjoying the Alameda “island life” with her husband and two children.

Courtney Springer Coy

Senior Designer

Courtney is a California native, born and raised in Sonoma County. That spirit of casual, California living is ingrained in her personal and professional style. With a diverse background including degrees in English Literature from Saint Mary’s College of California and Interior Architecture and Design from Academy of Art University, as well as work experience in retail buying and merchandising, high end furniture showrooms, more than a decade in residential interior design, including time as principal of her own eponymous boutique firm, Courtney brings the best of all of these experiences to her approach. In her free time, Courtney’s focus is her family, spending time with her husband and young son at home in Marin County, or exploring the beaches of Northern California, or weekends in Wine Country.

Eric Hardrath

Senior Design Manager

Eric is a detail fanatic and millwork expert who has over 12 years of experience as a designer and manager, and even more with hands-on trades. He started his career at a young age working for his family's residential carpentry and remodeling business in Milwaukee, followed by a BFA in Interior Architecture from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. He also gained experience in Hospitality and Retail design at Celek Interiors. Outside of Team RBD, Eric runs his own custom furniture business, indulging his love for millwork, carpentry, and design. On the weekends you can find Eric enjoying great coffee and making sawdust in his workshop, or cycling, camping, and otherwise adventuring with family, friends, and his dog Bruno.

Jill Stocker

Senior Design Manager

A graduate of UC Santa Cruz, Jill received her BA in Business Management. After crunching numbers for a few years, she returned to school to pursue a design degree, completing her MA in Industrial Design from San Francisco State University. Jill joined RBD with over 14 years of experience in the interior design industry, having worked on both high-end residential design and hospitality projects. A California native, Jill has lived in San Francisco for the past 18 years.  Outside of the office, you will find her adventuring with her two children, listening to music, dancing in the kitchen, and petting cats.

Briana Nix

Senior Design Manager

Briana has nearly twenty years of experience working in all facets of Interior Design. After moving to New York City from a small town in Texas, she spent ten years in the Editorial, Events and Furniture industries, styling and producing for many clients, including Martha Stewart, Country Home Magazine, In Style, and NBC. She mentored under one of NYC’s premier furniture designers before moving to San Francisco where she began taking on residential design projects of her own. Ultimately Briana found herself in the “design-tech” world, joining one of the industry’s first virtual design start-ups as Director of Design.

When she isn’t immersed in all things design, she is researching her next travel destination and practicing how to be a better west-coaster by hiking through the Redwoods or planning beach bonfires with her husband and two young children.

Alexa Backal

Design Manager

Originally from Mexico City, Alexa moved to SF and joined RBD in 2023 after spending 9 years working in hospitality, retail and residential projects. She earned her Bachelor's degree on Industrial Design from Universidad Iberoamericana and a diploma in Interior Design from Universidad Complutense of Madrid. After working as a retail and interior designer at GAIA Design, she was Casai’s Head of Design leading a cross-country hospitality team and creating the design ideology of the company worldwide. Her team won the MUSE Design Gold Awards in 2021.
Outside the design world, you can find her wandering around the Bay Area, enjoying a hygge moment with her loved ones with a nice cup of tea, or spending time outdoors with her husband and her dog Mazapan. 

Courtney Selzer

Designer

Courtney joined RBD after 15 years in the Hospitality and Tech Industry. While working at Airbnb, she found her calling for Interior Design when she was asked to help design the main cafe and event spaces at Airbnb HQ & other urban campus locations. She received a BS in Biology & Psychology from SFSU, but more recently completed the Interior Design & Architecture program at UC Berkeley Extension. At RBD, she finds great joy in working with so many talented artisans, and finds it truly fulfilling to be helping clients create their dream homes. When she’s not designing, you can find her cooking with friends & family, frequenting the farmer's market, and spending time outdoors exploring with her husband and son.

Olivia Romer

Designer

Olivia joins RBD after working at high-end residential design firms in San Francisco and New York. She earned her BFA in Interior Design from Pratt Institute where she focused her studies in sustainable design practices. Having grown up in Redwood City, Olivia is a Bay Area Native and spent her childhood frequently visiting project sites with her mother who worked as a Project Manager at a construction company. Olivia knew early on that she loved this industry. When she isn’t working you can find her restoring her Craftsman home in the East Bay, tending to her backyard chickens or walking her pup, Zeus.

Alana Young

Designer

After spending 10 years as a designer of high-end residential architecture, Alana joined the RBD team in 2023. Alana was born and raised in San Francisco and received her Master of Architecture degree from California College of the Arts.

Alana excels at helping clients express their personalities and lifestyles in the design of their homes. She has a natural eye for design and is not afraid to blend color, texture, and patterns. Alana is inspired by the individuality of each client and uses that enthusiasm to blend personality, purpose, and aesthetics.

When she isn't working, you can find Alana spending time with her family and friends. She is often with her three children and husband at the beach, in golden gate park, or at a local farmer's market. She also loves traveling, anything artistic, attending music concerts, and running outside.

Olivia Blossey

Designer

Olivia Blossey is a prodigious young designer with a genuine love for connecting with people and helping them better express themselves through physical space, form and light.

Hailing from the charming oceanside hamlet of Seal Beach in Northern Orange County, Olivia fell in love with San Francisco while attending SFSU's Interior Design program and joined RBD in the summer of 2023. She has a background in high-end residential design, having spent formative career years working for elite clientele in SF's Presidio Heights neighborhood.

A voracious reader and self-proclaimed 'Swiftie', Liv enjoys spending her days off hosting friends for dinner, thrifting, and strolling her Ocean Beach backyard with her partner and their 8lb rescue chihuahua, Chicken.

Diana Lin

Designer

Diana received her bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design, with a focus on adaptive reuse and sustainability. Her design ethos is deeply rooted in gestures drawn from the context of a project site-- the surrounding landscape, historical significance, a key architectural feature, and/or the families and communities it impacts. At RBD, she blends these elements with bold, curated color palettes to create beautiful spaces for each client’s unique style.

Outside the office, you will likely find her crouched along some forest trail observing mushrooms or hunched in a tidepool searching for sea critters. If not somewhere in nature, she’s sending climbs at the bouldering gym, cooking up a storm in her tiny but mighty kitchen, or obsessing over her two cats, Turtle & Tode.

Ann O-Reilly

Accounts Manager

Originally from Ireland, Ann moved to New York and then on to San Francisco—being lured by the California weather. After completing a degree in accounting, Ann found her place with numbers and worked at several construction companies throughout the Bay Area. Ann was introduced to Regan through a fortuitous project collaboration and Ann has been an integral part of the RBD office ever since. In her free time, you can find Ann traveling or going to concerts with friends and family, or on the hunt for new additions to her vintage handbag collection.

Amanda Decena

Accounting Assistant

Amanda has always had an admiration for design, but found her calling on the accounting side of business management. She grew up in the Bay Area, and started working as a bookkeeper for her father’s small business right after high school, allowing her to develop over nine years of experience with numbers and accounting. Prior to working at RBD, Amanda spent four years working in the medical field, growing her skills in office administration and management. She enjoys her work, helps others whenever she can, and dips into arts and crafts in her free time.

Cathleen Brady

Librarian

Cathleen first enlisted the help of Regan Baker Design in 2015 when the arrival of twins required a move to a bigger space. She and Regan discovered a mutual passion for sourcing just-right things, especially if it means traveling to Los Angeles or Paris to find them. Two projects and a friendship later, Cathleen adds employee to the list. As librarian, Cathleen likens organizing to gardening and applies that philosophy to Regan's samples and styling studio. As Copy Editor, Cathleen organizes all of the amazing things RBD does into words. When not at RBD, she can be found organizing her home, husband, and three children in San Francisco.

Melinda Baublitz

Brand Marketing Manager

Melinda joins RBD with 12 years of experience in marketing and creative management. A graduate of Ithaca College's Park School of Communications, she holds a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications—a unique and comprehensive blend of advertising, graphic design, public relations, and business management principles. After holding roles in account management, strategic planning, and creative production in diverse workplaces ranging from innovative marketing agencies to mission-driven nonprofits, she was inspired to embrace her love of interior design and joined RBD in 2022 to help launch and build upon their brand redesign and marketing efforts. Outside of the studio, Melinda can be found exploring Oakland's natural hidden gems, treasure hunting for the perfect pieces to add to her vintage eclectic home, and happily enjoying her 'fun auntie' status.

Greta Carse

Executive Assistant to the Principal

Greta was raised in the mountains of Utah, just outside of Park City and recently relocated to San Francisco to join the RBD team as Executive Assistant to the Principal and Office Manager. She joins RBD after several years of working at another well-known high-end residential design firm focusing on admin, events and company culture initiatives. Greta attended Utah Valley University, where she pursued a degree in Communication and Marketing - She has appreciated the opportunity of being able to marry her expertise and passion for organization, executive support and strategic planning with her personal interest in interior design. Greta spends her days off exploring the city, hiking, looking for new restaurants to try or spending time with her 2 crazy cats!
