Inviting Jordan Park Glam

With a penchant for hosting lavish parties, our clients wanted to reimagine their Edwardian home to embody an inherent sense of glamour while remaining warm, inviting, and organized. Classic marble, existing crown moulding, and window casings maintain the architectural foundation of the home and pay homage to its classic beauty, while the introduction of art-inspired wallpapers, dramatic light fixtures, and glamorous furnishings add a modern touch of drama.

The most striking and glamorous room in the home, the formal living room creates a luxe yet inviting space to host parties with friends. A sumptuous mix of boucle textures, floor length drapery, and rounded shapes creates an inviting feel, while a striking mix of glass and layered brass, black oak, and rust from the Gallotti & Radice coffee table adds a reflective and glitzy focal point at the center of the room.

Hosts to many dinner parties, our clients wanted the dining room to feel particularly special. The abstract and metallic sheen of the Calico wallpaper pairs with boucle and wool drapery for a tonal and subtly contrasting mix of textures. A multifaceted, geometric Gabriel Scott fixture reminiscent of jewelry adorns the room with a mix of smoky multicolored glass for a statement that is delicate yet striking.

kitchen

A spacious kitchen with two islands creates a comfortable space for cooking and hosting. Custom millwork lines the perimeter for a modern, organized, and clutter free space, while the simplicity of shaker cabinets maintains the home's traditional feel. Neolith Estatuario counters and backsplash introduce a timeless use of marble for a tonal and artistic complement to the misty grey color palette. Rich, deeply-hued wood flooring adds a contrasting and warming touch.

family room

The nearby family room offers a more relaxed space for easy gathering during family meals and relaxed weekends at home. A custom dining banquette by Jovinas pairs alongside a glossy, white Segmento dining table for a modern feel while cognac leather dining chairs add a timeless material and warmth. Pixelated, abstract paintings by Clare Kirkconnell and Ruxue Zhang fill the open space while their prominence of cool blues relate to the airy and light-filled feeling of the space.

A Dante Wonderland mirror with a metallic champagne steel detail and a black steel tray adds a playful and asymmetric detail to the powder room. Holly Hunt wallpaper featuring natural silk triangles against a metallic foil backing provides a gentle texture in a sophisticated grey colorway, while a Calcatta Borghini vanity introduces a classically refined sense of material in the small space.

Artistic Tile’s playfully geometric tiles in complimentary shades of blue and grey relate to the muted paint color of the soft grey millwork and the playful triangular detail of the wallpaper from the nearby powder room. A white McGee & Co. flush mount fixture with a gold leafed interior detail adds a simple and modern touch of glamour to the space.

A moody and tonal approach adds a luxurious feel to the primary bedroom while touches of gold reintroduce the home’s sense of glamour. Venetian Plaster walls add a subtle fog-like texture reminiscent of San Francisco skies, while a tonal painted trim highlights the crown moulding to pay homage to the existing architectural detail. A neutral chaise adds a warm touch of ivory for a classic and timeless feel, and creates a separate space for lounging and relaxing.

Working around an existing skylight, the primary bathroom was redesigned to prioritize space, storage, and abundant natural light. Calacatta Caldia marble wraps the walls for a classically refined sense of texture, while large rectangular floor tiles add a more minimalist and modern touch. Wood cabinetry and brass hardware adds warmth while open shelving with a brass bordered detail creates the perfect space for keeping extra towels and linens nearby.

Rich wood tones and moody Farrow & Ball Stiffkey Blue walls add a masculine sense of refinement to the office. Custom millwork works seamlessly with wood flooring for a continuity from ceiling to floor, adding a library-like feel that envelopes the space in a grounded warmth. An ebonized wood desk and black leather chair add a concentrated dose of black for a timeless essence, while small doses of gold fixtures, objects, and barware subtly reintroduce the home's sophisticated sense of glamour.

A pink ombre Pierre Frey wallpaper introduces an ethereal essence to the girl’s room while a flowing floor to ceiling canopy of Mark Alexander wool shears adds to the room’s sense of serenity. Closely matching the soft grey hue of the carpet, a fully upholstered trundle bed sits high for a plush, floating effect. A sleek lacquered desk and a whimsical mix of accessories offers a creative and inspired space for studying and doing homework.

Schumacher wallpaper with a gold could toile motif adds a refined element to the en-suite bathroom, while a spherical pendant by Mint Bliss combines contrasting textures of pink volcanic rock and opal glass for another whimsical touch.

Deep blue wallpaper with a dramatic mountain landscape lines the walls of another girl's bedroom for a bold, outdoors feeling. A plush navy swivel chair offers a generous scale perfect for indulging in movie nights or bedtime reads. A complimentary mix of rich blues and warm reds, knitted textures, and plaid patterns adds a fresh and preppy feel.

Benjamin Moore Van Deusen Blue drenches the walls and ceiling of the media room to fully embrace a moody atmosphere perfect for family movie nights. Custom floor to ceiling millwork fit with a marble wet bar creates the perfect place for prepping snacks, while a modular Maker Moss sectional, in a rich navy hue, offers seating for plenty. A custom ottoman with a walnut base and performance alpaca wool blend adds an abstract texture to layer atop the carpet in a similarly cool grey tone.
