{SXSW} | #flobrotourbus tour ends in Austin!

Today I took the kids to look at a bus. Not just any bus, the Kate Spade, Florence Broadhurst traveling tour bus covered in fuchsia pink and flo bro graphic wallpaper. The tour ended in Austin at SXSW. I was so excited  to see it and so were the kids. Do you know my love of airstreams yet? Although this isn't an airstream, actually a California Grayhound, I still love it's streamlined vintage industrial look. Maybe one day I can renovate one. ;)

It was great to partake in some fun SXSW festivities. 2nd street was booming and we ended our night with a Nora Jones sighting at Matt's El Rancho. Next year we'll make sure SXSW invades the calendar a bit more!

This week was full of follow up emails, photoshoots, and new potential client meetings. Lately, my own renovation Saving Frazier is on my mind. I'm loosing grasp of it, so I need to start prioritizing! Looking forward to sharing more with you next week. Enjoy your weekend!! Don't forget to vote for me!! Oh and check out another feature on Houzz: Get Soft With Sheepskin. ;)

{greypants} recycling architects | cardboard lights

I'm always excited when I find new products that are really inspiring. I couldn't NOT share this with you. It's too good not to! Introducing recycled cardboard lights. I'm in LOVE! Hum, what can I make with cardboard? These remind me of Frank Gehry's famous wiggle side chair. I think they are on to something. :) Great job Greypants! Looking forward to seeing more!

Greypants is a seattle based architecture firm that also makes sustainable products. To check out more about Greypants, go here. You must also check out this awesome video about their process. :) If you live in the bay area, you can see the lights in person at Starbelley Restaurant. Images above via the grog blog.

Thanks sis for sharing this link with me! I heart their name also!

Also, if you have a few minutes, check out my new portfolio pics! I'm super excited to finally add a few more projects.

{Fashion Frenzie} | shop it to me

We have a family photo shoot scheduled next week, so I'm in the mood to shop, but also short on time! I'm on the lookout for some new, decent priced clothing. Gotta keep the budget reasonable since the kids have to look cute too! :) Pre-pregnancy I ran across an awesome website that I bookmarked, but forgot about it until my sister reintroduced it to me today. Have you heard of ModCloth? If not, you must check them out. Vintage and new finds, awesome prices and unique pieces. Here's a few I'm lusting after.
