{Fashion Frenzie} | shop it to me

We have a family photo shoot scheduled next week, so I'm in the mood to shop, but also short on time! I'm on the lookout for some new, decent priced clothing. Gotta keep the budget reasonable since the kids have to look cute too! :) Pre-pregnancy I ran across an awesome website that I bookmarked, but forgot about it until my sister reintroduced it to me today. Have you heard of ModCloth? If not, you must check them out. Vintage and new finds, awesome prices and unique pieces. Here's a few I'm lusting after.

Fashion and Interiors

One of the things I enjoy most about starting a project is defining a person's style and taste. Some clients give me a look when I begin with "pick out a favorite outfit in your mind or wardrobe and describe it". Fashion is the gateway to Interior Design. It's what defines us and gives a glimpse to others of who we are as an individual. It's the first thing people see when they meet you and it definitely is a great starting point if you are having a hard time finding a style for your home. Check out the images from Anne Sage in her October post: Outfit to Room. Of course, if you know me, I LOVE anything Anthropology and they always do such a great job of incorporating the surroundings in the fashion photo shoots.

Rustic Modern

I'm not sure why I adore the style Rustic Modern, but I always find myself drooling over images that include any combination of the two. Maybe it's because I grew up in Texas, dabbled in English riding, and have always enjoyed the composition of a nice barn with the paring of a classic dressage saddle, riding boots and the fun proper hat.  Check out this post from design savvy Anne Sage, a fellow San Franciscan, who also adores the style.
